Waterpump torque

A little off topic here but part of the same job... what is the suggested torque on the waterpump bolt(s)?

hi thanks for your reply , i won't know condition of crankshaft bolt till garage remove it, from memory it may not have ever been changed at cam belt replacement, so with this milage i have another bolt but its a FEBIE brand ,my current belt is on 55000 and 6 years old miles so it needs changing soon do you agree ?
also i think theres a oil leak onto the front outer edge of the cam belt its tiny at moment as its not wet but a little bit greasy ,i with it with paper towel now and then so i think leak is from the idler bolt which goes right into the engine im told as 2 lads over here had this leak they dried the bolt and applied a permeated thread sealant which did the job ive ordered some just also when the crankshaft bolt goes back on do you recomend a thread lock glue ? so new belts gates brand
idler, tensioner , water pump and new coolant too , . my car starts 1st time every time so do i tell my garage to check the timing according to my volvo service bulletin it shoud be 0.95mm

Crankshaft pulley bolt: Greenbook states "Smear threads and mating surface with sealer P/N 277961-9."

I haven't found any torque specs for water pump bolts, have you?

Remember new W/P o-ring gasket any time you move the water pump.

hi NGOMA
my INA water pump comes with a new O ring thanks, the inter cooler has never been off the car woud you suggest getting garage to remove it and drain it of any oil if theres any there ,also shall i get them to check the injection pump timing ?

Sorry I have no experience with intercooler.

IP Timing will need to be reset after TB change UNLESS you can guarantee the camshaft has not moved AT ALL in relation to the crankshaft during the TB changeout and tensioning process. It is possible, but extremely difficult to achieve practically.

Even then, it's a good idea to recheck the IP timing even if you think nothing has moved during the TB changeout. With that, you're at least halfway to resetting the timing anyway.

So best to be prepared to retime the IP after TB changeout, in case the camshaft moves at all (probably will). ;)
