How much bhp/torque tuned stock pump
 
Wondering roughly how much extra power a fully stock tuned fuel pump will give

So far I've turned the max fuel screw in a little and messed with the lda, iI can feel the difference, just curious what sorta bhp increase this can give

My cars a 94 940tic

The ve pump with the stock 10mm plunger and stock cam plate with fuel limiting screw and LDA adjusted/maxed out it will flow around 200-220 HP worth of fuel.
There is much to do on the engine to get that power though.

Wow! That's a lot more than I thought it could flow.
So far I've turned the max fuel screw in a little, fiddled with the lda spring and grinded the profile of the pin about 3-4mm steeper. 1.1 bar boost and feels a lot quicker.

Wanting to go further though, what do you suggest?
I'm thinking bigger nozzles, helps keep the smoke down apparently

I have never seen anyone having bigger injectors on a D24T engine, even the guys with 12mm pump and hx35, rather have they increased the opening pressure. And to clear the smoke you could just increase boost. If your engine is in good health and has a intercooler 1.5 Bar should be safe.

seen a few posts about Monark nozzles, slightly bigger and also, higher pop pressure.
Ran 1.5 for a week, seen so many comments about the heads blowing on these I'm keeping it a little lower for now, plenty for the amount of fuel I'm at for the moment.
Having a little trouble keeping the idle down, thinking I need to pivot the throttle plate

Not so sure about the Monarks being bigger, but more about being the "GTD" design, and of better quality than currently available replacement Bosch nozzles that are made in China or India.

What do you mean by higher pop pressure? Higher end of spec range or higher than spec? Benefits/drawbacks?

Ah right, my injectors should he fine for now then. Previous owner has em down in the service history as being checked e.t.c. Recently

Not sure if higher than spec but deffinetly at the higher end if not slightly above for more efficient combustion with heavy fueling I think... I'm trying to read up/learn as much as possible about tuning this engine before getting too deep ha
