D24T wanted

Hello, I am the proud owner of a 1984 D24 245, but want to upgrade to a D24T. I'd like to know if anyone has the parts that they would like to sell.

Thanks,

Steve

Where are you located?
Will you be adding the d24t with turbo in to the 240?
You might need one of these..

So far there are 5 240 turbo diesel volvo's running around with my custom oil pan with no issues!
I can set you up with a "drop in" turbodiesel for your 240 if you want.
Or you can just add the turbo to your d24.

Ah, I remember now. You bought a tach and injector lines from me.
Shipping might get $$$ to get the 500lb motor to you.

If the current d24 is in good health I would add a turbo to it.

Hi Anders, yep I am the guy who bought that stuff from you. My D24 is running well, it just had its head rebuilt a few months ago by a diesel mechanic in Olympia. that is who I bought the wagon fthrough. Driving it from Washington to California is when I lost a fuel line. Anyway, I would love to have an engine built. I don't need anything too radical, but would like to be able to go up a mountain pass at a speed of my choosing, while maintaining reliability. I was just going to swap out for an LS, but kind dig these old diesels.

If the d24 that's in there is running well and in good health I would just add a turbo to it. It seems the mileage always gets better and the longevity of the motor is not affected (as long as you stick around the 12psi boost mark).
These engines are so much better with a turbo.
Send me a pm if you like, we can go over different options.
