940 TDIC in a 240 D24

Volvo 940 TDIC in a 240.
What is involved ? How have you deal with the oil pan ?
I've got the engine etc (from a 240 part donor. Also have a 240 M47 with the shaft)

Putting a d24t into a 240 is pretty easy. You will need the diesel 240 engine mounts. As far as oil pan goes, use the d24 pan with a oil drain welded into it. There are several ways to do so; some weld an A/N fitting onto the top of the oil sump. I cut and weld an oil drain block into the side of the pan so you can use the factory d24t oil drain. The last method is to cut the drain fitting from a d24t pan and weld it into the 240 pan.

cuting D24 T pan do weld it on D24 pan is nice, but not so easy. Plus you lost a D24 T pan. Weld a fiting on the upper side is nice and easier (no gasket problem for the pan)
Have you got pics on the different ways to do ?
What is you opinion, cut and weld ?
