Car shaking

What can cause shaking of engine and whole car? most shakes when engine is warm... I have rebuild engine, new hydromounts and everything and I still feel like sitting in the massage chair

What RPM? Numerous possibilities, let's try to narrow it down.

At idle (about 800rpm), I suspect the IP - it was opened and resealed but maybe some main part in it is worn out or so?

Shaking at warm idle? What is the idle RPM before it warms up?

When did the problem start?

You will want to perform the troubleshooting routine at idle where you loosen one-by-one the injector line nuts at the injectors and see if any do not lower or worsen the idle. This to find if there is a particular injector, line, valve, distribution valve, cylinder, etc. that is the problem. Do not over-tighten the injector line nuts when closing them up. 25Nm / 18ft-lbs.

DNO SD 1930 nozzles are USA/Canada spec. 180 bar is over spec, why?

It's possible that the IP delivery piston could have been reinstalled 180 deg. out.

yes, cold idle is about 1000rpm (due to cold start device) for a while and then drop to 800

Ok I will check injectors like you said (some friends around have good experience with these nozzle at high pressure (stock is 165bar) for little more top end power)

Problem start some years ago :D I replaced transmission, then injectors, resealed IP, engine, then rebuild the engine and the problem is still here

So when I loosen injector lines one-by-one (doesn't matter which), idle is worse

It is good when I raise the idle to 1100+ rpm

Hi

Are you 100% sure, that the IJP (Injection Pump) Timing is correct ?
When you adjust it, KSB (Kaltstartbeschleuniger in german) for you : Cold start Device, is disabled ?
Cold start Device MUST be Disabled , to set the correct Timing.

Sorry, for me sounds like wrong Pump Timing.

Greetings

You mean too advanced or retard? I think timing it is correct, because otherwise it start fine, no smoke...

ngoma 02-08-2015 09:49 PM

Generally, injectors set to higher POP require more IP timing advance, because overcoming the higher pressure delays the start of injection. So your setup probably requires more IP advance than stock. How much more, I don't know.

I know, I dont have a gauge, so my mechanic set it on "ear" (he did this diesels (vw etc.) for 20 years)... I dont think this is the problem, because with stock injectors it was same
