Horn & Trunk Seal;

Hi all,

I have an '84 760 D24T and my horn has become barely audible. I was wondering what others have done to replace theirs, meaning do you stick with the OEM horn or use something else? What are the wiring differences? How easy is the replacement? Also, I was told there are two horns, but my car only has one.

The second thing is that my trunk leaks, and quite by accident I discovered that water is coming in through the seal at the front of the trunk parallel to the rear window. I found this out last winter when I left it out during a light snow, and when I opened the trunk I saw a line of snow inside corresponding to this area. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dave

get a fresher one off a newer gas car.

The horn is pretty serviceable, but you may need a few machine screws to replace the rivets if you have to take the case halves apart.
