Audi 1T TDI engine
Here's a cool thread about a guy swapping into his Audi a 1990 1T TDI engine, which is an inline 5 TDI engine more similar to the D24T than the 1.9 TDI.

That would be pretty sweet, as I much prefer the higher torque/lower rpm powerband of the TDI motors over the IDI engines. I find the photos of this engine very interesting, because it almost looks like a "hybrid" between the newer 1.9 TDI and the D24T. |

Hot dog, that would be a very cool ride. Audi Quattro with a diesel! I often thought about a Audi 4000 CS (80?) with the D20T in place of the inline 5 gasser. But this is another thing all together, 5-cylinder TDi powering all 4 wheels, so awesome.
