Belt broke
Searching for tool #9995187 to buy. Someone here had a precise drawing of it with all measurements needed to fabricate one but I cant find the posting.
ThankYou |
Is that the slim IP pulley puller?
5187 is the timing belt counterhold tool.
Many owners escaped without it, using the 'tranny in 4th' trick But the engine is out of car, so i cant do that now. |
Try Baumtools. Their number is listed on their website.
If someone could measure the tool. That would be great. We'll try making one. Or buy a used one if it shows up offered for sale
Did you the measurements you needed for the counterhold tool?
5187
I had a quick drawing with all measurements but I found the tool. Thank you.
I have a feeling that the pulley itself looks different from other d24 pulleys I`ve seen or googled. It has only 1 hole (not 3 or more), idk if it matters at all. |
Glad to hear it turned up. Broken timing belts are never good news. Keep us posted.
that sucks that the timing belt broke since I kind of recommended you change it last I saw you.
