How many of you are running an EGT gauge on your D24T? I would like to know what temp your running at idle, cruising down the highway, and at WOT. I would like it to be pre-turbo. I see 200 @ idle, 400-600 cruise and 1050 on a very hard pull on my 244 D24T+IC with max fuel and super 60 T3 with .48AR.

The reason I ask is because I think my temps are too low..

I idle around 300, 700-1100 on the freeway, under 200 engine braking, and 1450 pulling a grade. I have to keep it under 1250 sustained,or coolant temp starts to rise. I have an MBC that I think increases my EGT most of the time.
Reads the same on both Autometer electronic gauges.(well, one went bad, and the new one reads no different). My max boost is 15 PSI on a stock turbo, no IC. Not very smokey tune.

I'm thinking my EGT is low because my IC is fairly large, my EGT was higher in the summer, but I have never seen it past 1150 on a long hill at WOT from 40mph to 90+mph ( I lose my needle as my gauge only goes to 85)
I'm trying to decide if it is my IC , thermostat, cylinder head, or combination of two or all.
My engine was starting to give some haze (whitish from incomplete combustion) out the pipe in city driving as my egt is around 200.

I think heat of compression is 200 without burning anything.
Where is your probe? mine is right in the Y of the manifold.
