Cool to see the difference in equipment over there. I also have a '84 760, with different headlight setup, and the guages are a different setup too. Mine has a large clock, and doesn't have the volt gauge. It looks like your temp/fuel combination gauge came from a 2xx series car. Interesting. Thanks for posting up the pics.

Here in sweden you cold get a lot of different gauge setups for the 740/760 series cars back in the days...

thanks for the comments, The gauge cluster was changed before I bought it, I donīt know which one is the original yet.
I will post more pictures, It was made in Sweeden and imported to Spain, but it has been changed a lot, the interior and exterior.

AND ONE NEW AIR INTAKE. I took the hot side filter and reroute this metal tube to the front, I threw the thermostat and the plastic tap away. Now I have 2 air intakes.

Nice setup, the gauge looks factory. Good idea on the air box, did you take apart the box and remove the funnel shaped baffle on the fender inlet? Thats a pretty big restriction too.

That's a nice car. Congratulations. That headlight setup is know as "E-codes" because that headlights complies with the E-code for lightning or something. My car came with them.

here is a picture of actual cluster
http://i14.servimg.com/u/f14/12/44/39/82/dsc06914.jpg
finally it is outside temperature Celsius, but I have a question, there is a little red light up from the temperature that lights sometimes...
I have been 1 day trying to fix the original one, soldering everything as new but the diesel volume tank gauge and engine temperature gauge does not work
there must be something wrong, because this cluster was installed before I bought it and I think is from 200 series:eek:

200 series diesel? I didn't think those had a tach? Did you get the temp sensor with the gauge? Pretty sweet looking setup there though.

That little red light indicates when its slippery outside,
im not sure about exact numbers but it should light around +0*celsius,

the temperature sensor was in the car, the gauge in the original cluster.
thanks icev_760 sure is what you said.

NICE! That sticker is doing work in the back window, and the white compliments your car nicely..

About that catch can... I think your going to be filling it up rather quickly, and I would think about installing larger fittings in it. The hose being necked down like that is going to restrict flow. I had a catch can like that on my 1.9 TDI it worked ok, but I ended up installing larger inlets for the breather hoses on that too. Also, I found it easier and less messy to install a drain valve on the bottom instead of that knurled fitting plug, you get oil all over the place when you take that out!
