Dimensions for Diesel Injection Pump Locking Pin, Volvo# 9995193

I have access to a machine shop and would like to make my own Diesel Injection Pump Locking Pin. Does anyone have the dimensions?

If somebody can measure their locking pin, I will create a dimension drawing and post here.

I will measure mine this weekend (once I have had a chance to clear a path to my toolbox... time for spring cleaning). But just getting a VW pin and cutting the handle down on it might be easier.

Are you trying to use it to remove the injection pump drive gear or nut, or are you just trying to use it for setting basic injection timing? If you are trying to set timing, it's actually more easily done *without* the pump pin in place, so if that is what you are doing you might not need it anyway.

I was trying to remove the pump gear nut. I ended up ordering a "timing kit" from Baum tools on Ebay. I was able to get the unmodified pin in with some finagling.
