In preperation for the built injection pump with 12mm head, I ordered up a new larger turbo. I'm going to need more air than the current T4 compressor can provide. According to the specs its full tilt by 25lbs... Granted it will go more than that, but the air is just going to get hotter and hotter. The new turbo will be a hybrid using my current exhaust side, and the larger compressor housing and wheel. The turbo I purchased is a T66... It has a 66mm compressor wheel (compaired to my current 55mm) with a 1" larger inlet (4") and a 2.5" outlet. Its a .70 A/R. It should really scream, and push a much larger volume of air at a given turbine speed, in addition to having a higher boost capability at a cooler temp. I need to order a couple new silicone hoses, but I'll be installing it coming up. I'll post some pics and hopefully a video!
Just for comparison, its sitting next to a stock turbo, and a pic of the inlet eating a can of PB blaster. I can fit my fist down the mouth of it! I'm hoping for pulling truck loud whistle when it spools up!
