Anybody catch this? Effective, but it presents old diesels in a pretty bad light. Thoughts?

Volvoist (Mike) posted this on the D24 e-mail list and pointed out that the car isn't really a diesel (86+ headlights). I think the ad is pretty funny though... albeit an unfair representation of the D24.

Ha, wow! I didn't even think to check. I guess running diesel 245s are in pretty short supply.

I almost fell off the couch when I saw it. I immediately posted to the D24 board, but did not get a chance to do so on here. They should have called me, I would have lent them a REAL 245 D24... which is Eli's old car with 416K, and has one or more bent rods, and #2 cylinder is dead. That sucker smokes terribly! :-)
