Hey guys it's time to sell my 760 since I'm soon getting a new Golf tdi and can't justify having 4 cars!

This 760 is brick red and it's been in my family since the 90's. It's got the M46 along with the factory upgrade, 5 spoke Momo wheels and a 3 spoke, leather wrapped Momo steering wheel. Beige leather interior, the seats are extremely comfortable. There is a large tear in the middle rear seat leather but I'm going to work on sewing it up. The fuel gage works, but the sending unit is shot and I haven't replaced it yet. Also, the odometer stopped on me at 144k. I would estimate it has between 160-170k now, since I don't drive it that much. I have put in a few new or rebuilt parts in the four years I have owned it: a rebuilt fuel injector pump with biodiesel compatible seals, new radiator, new glow plugs, new glow plug solenoid, new right front axle bearing, new trunk supports and a new belt and hose.

I also have a set of Volvo diesel tools and several green book shop manuals which I would be willing to sell along with the car.

I would like to sell it to someone who will really appreciate it which is why I will sell it to a d24t'er for less than I'm asking on craigslist.

I'm in Athens, GA, USA. PM me or call me at 706-206-9099 and make an offer. I would be willing to meet, depending on distance.

Well, the 760 is sold. I think the guy who bought it will be stalking this site now. He's already been here. Thanks for everyone who wrote me.

Congrats, glad to hear it is staying in the "family" :). Looked like a nice car. I have an '83 760 TD too, but it doesn't look as good as yours. Hope the next owner continues to hang around here and keep it in good running shape!
