Holy crap the forum is 1 year old!!!

Hey everyone, I just realized the forum is a year old yesterday. I started it on June 14th of '09!!! In a year, we have grown to almost 200 members around the world.

Thanks to everyone who has joined up and continues to help support the Volvo diesel community! I'm sure the people and info found on this forum have helped to keep a few more diesels on the road, and hopefully will continue to do so... (or at least as long as I'm willing to spend the $7 a month to host it!)

Thanks go to you for starting the forum and continuing to host it. In the past, besides the old D24 email list (which is still great), there have been no message boards for D24/T owners to go to... only Turbobricks where everyone hates diesels, or VW boards where everyone hates Volvos. :D Great to have a place where we can talk about our Volvo diesels without getting dumped on by everyone that doesn't have one. :rolleyes:

Exactly why I started it... I'm more of a fan of the forum type layout. I have learned alot from various car related forums in the past few years... I think its a great platform for exchanging info. Its also a hell of alot easier posting pics/videos than the old email list. Sure it worked, but its pretty out dated.


Great to have a place where we can talk about our Volvo diesels without getting dumped on by everyone that doesn't have one. :rolleyes:
