Hello everyone!! thank you very much for accepting me on this forum.

I went into volvo frenzy with a ruined 85 740. Started mechanics with my little twingo (the most classical student car here in france). My poor 740 was a complete wreck. No more compression, one oil liter / 100km, gasoil leaks from everywhere...got crooked by a friend. The list of the problems i had to go through with is just infinite. Ii really is a paradoxe, but that's how i started to love the bricks.

So I told myself, lets get something that would be more appropriate for my ability to ride and repair, good NA D24.

I am now the proud owner of a beautiful 245 GL, 1981.

What else..? a little word about myself maybe . I teach classics, I came to life with a very low understanding of technical and mathematical stuff. But as I put all my efforts into it, I tend to believe that if I'm not to become a top-notch mechanic, I will change my timing-belt on my own one day (well ..with a little help from my friends for sure) and if police does not grab me while trying to knocking my volvo up instead of protecting myself from coronavirus.

Cheers!
