Hi guys,

My name is Bernd, I'm 30 years old and I am from Hanover Germany.
I have two Volvos with the mighty & striking D24 engine the first one, my '88 745 is turbocharged, the second is a '94 945 is turbocharged and intercooled. Both with M46 OD gearbox & original settings.
My first car in 2006 was also a 945 D24TIC which I wrecked up, after that I had in 2010 another 945 D24TIC where in 2012 the radiator blew up at speed 200 on the german highway.

I've some mechanical skills, mostly earned by the "learning by doing" method. I had a lot of good experience, and a couple of very frustrating. But at all I have a lot of fun with it next to my IT profession.

I had several cars, mostly Volvo.
But I love the D24 sound in combination with turbocharger and so I went back to the roots
Feels like truckin' on the couch. Cruising along the landscape and countries. Ahhh...I'm lovin' it!

Greetings!
Bernd

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have a couple of nice cars and a lot of background with the engines. Good to have you here! Most of us in the US would envy the later model diesels you own. Looking forward to hearing more about them, we have a Showroom section for posting pictures and info of our vehicles and any upgrades or restoration work being done.

Although this is a small forum we have a wide range of members from around the globe and with a variety of interesting vehicles - Volvos, Pinzgauers, VW LT trucks, and a few conversions into boats and other vehicles. Glad you have joined the group. :)
