Been lurking for a while and this great site has got me going a couple time now. Thank you all for your input. 1980 245 with 655,000 on the clock. 4 speed/od and I really like this for mileage and work. I will mile it up and maintain. I got the rebuild tools and many spare parts with the car. Second running rusted out car for my first motor swap... hmmm into the 79 242 or the 79 245. prob the 245. I'll try to help as well as appreciate this site. thanks Paul

I'm in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. The burgundy 80 wagon is not much to look at but has been working good for me (about 14000 km) It will be off the road for the summer for much needed work. Paul
