Nice car, looks like it's in great shape!

Also very interesting to notice, I had wondered for a long time why on later versions of the D24T radiator the upper rad hose connection is aimed at a sharper angle than on the early ones -- on original metal rads from '85 and earlier the upper hose connection is almost exactly straight, but sometime around '86 it seems they aimed it much further inward, and also updated the fan shroud and the upper rad hose shape to fit the sharper angle. I had always thought it was just to make the battery easier to lift in and out without catching on the hose, but now I see the real reason, looking at your intercooled car -- they needed to get it further over so that it wouldn't interfere with the intercooler pipe on the TIC models! Neat, thanks for the good photos. :)

What are your plans for it? Welcome to the forum!

Thanks!!!

I never understood why with a longitudinal engine, the intercooler piping had to have so many curves it could be way more direct like Nissan's SRDET. Instead of intercooling pipe coming from the side of intake it could go into de front of it, like the n/a d24 intake manifold. Perhaps that's just me being picky.

Plans are, get electricalfront seats sorted (got some 960s ones), already sorted the leaking exhaust and fitted a straight through pipe and got rid of middle box, need to sort out air con aswell. As far as engine's concern first I wanted to play with fuelling and boost before getting too serious, to be honest the engine feels and pulls great despite the millage but I first want to do a compression test and check the radiator to make sure everything is in top condition before start thinking about messing with pump and upgrading turbo and noozles...

What`s that? some 300k Miles? nice. Welcome to the Forum. Nice car indeed. I installed the same mudflaps on my wagon, they look good.
I remember that alt setup. Also the leather shifter boot looks cool (anyone in US has one for sale?).
