Hi everyone. It looks like hoarding old-school diesels is strongly addictive!...
I`m happy to report that my lucky bro managed to find a *very* clean LT.
It makes him responsible to care for ten diesel cylinders now (he also scored a great runner no-rust 1983 VW Golf, 5sp, 1.6 n/a D)
Not much of a project will be going on (hopefully) but I`ll have several pictures posted as soon as I get them.

I hope you diesel brickers don`t hate me out of here for sharing LT stuff.
We are in the same boat = similar vehicles (=similar issues, lol), we got the same 6cyl diesel `heart`; AND, well, hard(er)-to-find parts and so on...
Enjoy the crappy cellphone pix!
:D
PS.Freaking paperwork states 2382ccm on title. I can`t figure out how it is possible. Should be 2383 I think.
It`s a factory oem flatbed, 6cyl no-turbo diesel btw. Of course it has the manual tranny. It`s the `First generation` LT 35, 29 years old, 1986. Info later.
I truly wish they existed here in the USA!!!! Damn it

Very cool! Looks like it's in great shape, and not only interesting but a very useful vehicle as well. Wish we had them here.

Great looker there RedArrow, and no need to apologise since it is a VW engine.

There are a few on your side of the pond, both US and Canada, and more being imported all the time from Germany and Austria. The favourite being the 4x4, not Syncro like the t3/Vanagon. You are not alone in wishing they had been imported in the first place.

Take a look at http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/forums.html and the VoLT group on FaceBook https://www.facebook.com/groups/voltowners/?fref=ts

FB is more 'social' but BrickYard is more 'technical' .....most of the time.

I am going to Pin your pick-up, once there is a decent picture, but I will add it to BrickYard and FB right now.

LTs are the future.......sort of.
