The power steering bracket on my D24 has cracked in a stop where it has already been welded so I'm not sure if it can be fixed again. Does anybody have one they would be willing to part with? Let me know, thank you. -Ben

This is on a 200 series?

They're in short supply so you may want to try to revive yours once again. They break all the time when people install them the wrong way (always at the lower mounting ear) and they're NLA so tough to get your hands on a good one -- junkyard is best bet. I have a handful of broken ones but none that are intact. The 700 series bracket holds up better but unfortunately is not compatible with the 240, interferes with the upper radiator hose.

Tom Bryant, in Maine, has been working on getting a fabricator to make a batch of new brackets with an improved design and they will be compatible with 200 series. Don't think he's got any prototypes done yet, though, so you might need to get creative with what you've got for a while longer unless someone here is able to get hands on one that's whole for you.

I actually have found one through Anders on here, so it looks like I'm in luck! Is the new one going to be made out of steel? I would think that would solve the problem of them cracking. Unfortunately the lower mounting bolt that goes through the power steering bracket is broken off into the block and it also holds the water pump in place so when I get my new bracket I'm just going to do the timing belt as well and extract the bolt so I can have all the bolts in the water pump and all of them in the PS bracket as well. I think mine cracked again mostly because it was only bolted on with the top three bolts. Wonder how that bolt got broken off in there.
