I know people have turboed a NA engine but, is the oiling system and are the pistons the same. I know Mercedes NA and Turbo lower ends are quite different.

I own both now and I can tell you the oiling saying is substantially different. The positions should be the same tho. The oiling system is different in that it has oil squatters aimed at the bottom of the pistons.
